Darling Harbour & Cockle Bay
(Our Darling Harbour, Cockle Bay Scavenger Hunt starts near the Chinese Gardens, near Town Hall Station)
Go Scavenger is Sydney’s #1 fully hosted, professionally developed, fun scavenger hunt event. We use the award winning ActionTrack free app to pose questions, direct teams around the course, collect answers and take photos and videos.
Your friendly host meets you twice on the course and the “hands on” tasks add a layer of fun and challenge. Tasks requiring teamwork, trust, problem solving, creativity and social intelligence round out this event and make it memorable and highly engaging.
This popular course starts in Darling Harbour and is a flat, circular course taking in all the attractions of this area.
Total route is just over 3km and is totally flat, with no street areas. It includes Tumbalong Park, the Chinese Gardens (outside), Cockle Bay, the Pyrmont Bridge, the Maritime Museum (outside) and the Darling Harbour Amphitheatre.
The app will guide you to questions that feature a mix of historic and contemporary sites, plus videos and loads of photos. The hosted tasks are creative and require teams to build rapport and engage with people in the area. Teams will use design thinking, consensus, teamwork problem solving and discernment.
Adults: Options include the Watershed, the Hard Rock Cafe, the Port, the Whirlybird in Pyrmont, Cyren or Planar
Under 18’s: Good places for groups including people under 18 would be Pyrmont Bay Park, the Harbourside Amphitheatre, or the Harbourside Food Court.
